6MEDIA NE LTD. is a creative media studio registered in England. Our studio address is 1 Hutton Close, South Church Enterprise Park, Bishop Auckland, DL14 6XG, England, and the company director is Andrew Sixsmith. You can reach us at any time by email at hello@6media-ne.co.uk.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, 6MEDIA NE LTD. is the data controller for the personal data processed through this website.

What data we collect

Information you send us directly

If you email us, or use the contact form on this site to prepare a message, we receive whatever you choose to share: typically your name, email address, the name of your business and the details of your enquiry. We use this information solely to respond to you and to plan any work you ask us about. The contact form on this site does not transmit or store your message anywhere — it simply helps you compose an email to send yourself.

Server logs

Like almost every website, our hosting provider keeps standard server logs that may record your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of each request. These logs are used for security monitoring and to keep the site running, and are not used to identify individual visitors.

Cookies and local storage

This site stores your cookie consent choice in your browser's local storage under a site-specific key, so that the consent banner does not reappear on every visit. Advertising partners may also set cookies, as described below and in our cookie policy.

Embedded Google Maps

Our contact page embeds a Google Maps map so you can find the studio. When the map loads, your browser connects directly to Google, and Google may set its own cookies and process data such as your IP address in accordance with its own privacy policy. We do not receive or control any of that data. If you prefer not to load the map, you can email us for directions instead.

Microsoft Advertising

This website may display advertisements served by Microsoft Advertising (Bing Ads). Where ads are shown, Microsoft may use cookies and similar technologies to serve, measure and personalise those advertisements. Any personal data processed in connection with advertising is processed by Microsoft as an independent data controller. You can read how Microsoft handles personal data in the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and you can manage your ad preferences through Microsoft's personalisation settings. How long we keep your data

Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we are working with you and for up to twenty-four months afterwards, so we can pick a conversation back up if you return to the studio. Server logs are retained by our hosting provider for a short operational period before being rotated and deleted. We do not build marketing profiles from this website.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
• Ask us to correct any data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
• Ask us to erase your personal data, in certain circumstances.
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing of your data.
• Data portability, where our processing is based on consent or contract.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@6media-ne.co.uk and we will respond within one calendar month. You also have the right to complain to the supervisory authority: the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). You can contact the ICO at ico.org.uk or by calling their helpline on 0303 123 1113.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time — for example, if the services on this site change or the law changes. The effective date above shows the current version. Material changes will be flagged on this page; continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
